If I didn’t have to deal with the fall-out of the anti-vaccine movement I might be a little more sympathetic toward their wilful deliberate ignorance and self (and others’) endangerment. Great shame for the blameless sick kids though. Preventable.
Until it's not. Any arm twisting language will be seized on by the man in tin colanders. It reinforces their paranoia and they are VERY effective at spreading it. It's a consent exercise and this is where information is key. Wagging the finger will really blow back at us.

But these are politically cynically and disgruntled people, and minorities where superstitions are very easily propagated. Language is crucial. Best the gov says nothing and promotes this through the professions.
