Our trainee ACP Tori just learned the word ‘bleb’ & refused to believe it was a real word; she thought we were winding her up. Even after she looked it up she remained suspicious, saying ‘bleb’ over & over in her Aussie accent (“it sounds like a little jellyfish or something”)

Yes they are but you do have some rather mad words for things. Bleb is quite tame tbh.

'Bleb', according to the Oxford English Dictionary, was first recorded in the 17thC and referred to a small blister. So (strewth mate don't come the raw prawns) not an Aussie idiom.
