Quarantining people is disruptive and costly. Testing people is possibly more costly, but less disruptive.
Wouldn’t it then make sense to test *everyone* in key roles - every MP for example?

Ok. But there is a line somewhere - if MPs think it’s important to keep Commons open, surely regular testing for them makes sense?

To what end? In a dynamic environment you are chasing your tail. Better to exclude them and defer votes and debates. The Lords however, given their age, is a death trap.
