They're not refugees unless they are fleeing Turkey. Given Turkey is bussing them to the border that's rather doubtful

They are refugees being refused refuge by Turkey. Am not a fan of current Turkish govt, but country is hosting 4m refugees. That's more than population of Wales! Many of the Syrians coming to Turkey now are fleeing the places they fled to a few years ago. The world MUST ACT!

That has not been proven. Letting 4m from the Middle East into Europe is incredibly stupid and dangerous. Has the EU suspended Turkey's visa deal, accession funding, customs union agreement? No It could and should. It's called leverage. Could be done at the next council summit.

(1) I didn't suggest all refugees in Turkey be moved to Europe; no idea where you dreamt that up! (2) Many refugees prefer to stay as close to home as possible cos they want to return once it's safe (3) Turkey may be reaching capacity esp for vulnerable refugees; we should help!

1. Turkey will send as many as it wants to. Europe will fold. 2. Turkey chooses to invade its neighbour. 3. Appeasement of tyrrants is folly. Turn on the screws economically or see the continent flooded, again.

It's about helping people in need. They have nothing to do with the Turkish govt.

Turkish government orchestrated this. Their acts have been hostile. EU appeasement will backfire badly, already has.
