TV programmes on all channels all too often interview clinicians who we then discover to be political activists with motivated reasoning. Imo it's important to be open about campaigning that people have done.

5. Any NHS funded drug goes through a health technology appraisal. Any doctor practicising here must be GMC licencsed. If an app replaces a GP it must be tested to that level, independently and robustly a la Medical Act. Using out of area GP registration to bulk transfer...

5. Bypassing HTAs and the Medical Act to be endorsed by a SoS is the very opposite of conservatism. If a Labour SoS had done this there'd be wall to wall coverage of it. You value NICE, MHRA, and other agencies or you go for the wild west approach. That'd kill major investments
