I do wish if the Cardiology consultants felt the people I admitted to CCU overnight we’re inappropriate they fed that back for learning rather just bitching about it to the CCU nurses... although I don’t think AF on IV Amiodarone or chest pain with VT in ambulance are non-CCU...

It’s not stirring it’s just useful to know. Although, I’m not certain MAU would have been happy to take them at the rate they were going after a failed DCCV due to associated chest pain and now on IV Amiodarone.

Don’t take it to heart. When I was a Reg? A cardio consultant swore at me when I stood in MAU post nights. I gave him the notes and went home. Today? When we pass each other as colleagues, there’s always a nervous giggle from his side. Life and all that People can be idiots

Basic rule for me is if a senior says no or that you cant do xyz instead of actually telling what is right means they are at best an idiot.
