If there’s a no deal Brexit Northern Irish agriculture will go off a cliff. Worth remembering that agi is different in NI than rUk: farms smaller, far more dependent on EU grants, and employs far more. Farming is lifeblood of many communities- many of them unionist

Then they need to lobby their MPs, the ones who show up. Outside the EU Enterprise Investment Schemes and some direct intervention re: new creameries, abbatoirs can add a lot of value to farming there.

Investing in agricultural processing?? So NI milk can be processed in NI? I think WTO would be ok with that somehow. Not state aid of agriculture, tax breaks on new industries.
