Again, Americans don't live in EU countries. Most EU countries have nationalized healthcare, for starters. We don't. Context matters.

We don't. The UK is unique in western Europe. Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands have privately run public and insurance funded healthcare

Some EU countries don't have minimum wages because their unions are so strong that they've all negotiated high enough salaries for their workers to actually live decent lives. It's not like that here.

Er Italian unions are hardly strong, just the governments have deicded on balance it is not worth it and it marginalises those of low skill.
