Someone doesn't understand how things work. If Boris resigned, the Deputy PM doesn't just take over. He/She would need to prove they have the confidence of the House of Commons to become PM. And with a majority of -43 i think that's quite unlikely

Appoint a Brexit Deputy PM NOW. If SC does not overturn ruling of Court of Session re: prorogation, calls for resignation will be formidable.
