For working GPs and Consultants these are meaningless as they are not work age benefits and London is not middle England. Hexham, Hereford, and Market Harborough are.

You may be right I just find it depressing to think that a healthcare professional would run off at the first hint of a tax cut. And the things I mentioned are in my view work age benefits (workers’ kids at uni, workers’ parents in homes)

They are people with dreams families and costs. An extra 2 or 3 grand really makes a difference. Uni fees are a grad tax, parents don't pay. Free personal care for millionaires is an inheritance tax cut. In the ends there are the choice to chase the middle class vote.
