Yes. The SNP play the same game of linking one constitutional outcome to another. They said Scotland would stay in the EU and then hid their legal advice on the matter. I don't respect either side for that behaviour.

They're being forced to apply for settled status. Will every application be accepted? If not, that's a significant loss of rights and a huge source of worry even if you lack the empathy to understand it.

If they are not working they have no settlement rights under EEA law so it is the decision of the UK gov. This was the case pre-Article 50 anyway
