My view on the only way out of the Parliamentary impasse; The PM should take her Deal ( the only realistic Deal on offer) to the people to ask for their informed consent in a #PeoplesVote which includes an option to remain. Currently no valid consent to this version of Brexit

OK. If this happened and they rejected it what then?

Depends what 'it' is. If rejected to Remain and Deal, we crash out and the people should take responsibility for it. If we take May's deal, we implement it. If we take Remain, we remain and then focus our priorities on the causes of Brexit; Austerity, poverty, living standards.

The last para is virtually identical to a tweet I posted a couple of days ago. The that things led to people feeling hopeless pushed them quite understandably towards the Leave vote, but leaving will NOT help the poorest in our country - it’ll make it worse for them.

Wrong. Group think does not make it right. The poorest still pay too much tax, have high rents, struggle to find decent schools and are discarded by MPs as unfashionable. It is not simple leaving that helps, it is the leave mindset of representing poorer people.
