Breaches no human rights as no one is entitled to the money of others. they have a right to enjoy family life. Not other's money. Each paying for their own via tax breaks is absolutely equitable.

I disagree with your perspective - what happens to those whose circumstances change -suffer from abuse or have mental health issues or another disease meaning they cannot work. Not everyone has a predictable future.
