As a constituent of Frank and a member of the local Labour Party he is absolutely not. The reason why he has been continually voted in is because he was in the Labour Party and the fact he has never stood down.

What is with you people and telling people from his area that we are wrong? Do YOU live in Merseyside? Are YOU his constituent? If you’re neither of those things stop correcting us about an MP and town we know far better than you.

I grew up in Merseyside and return often. There are plenty of waste of space MPs riding the Labour ticket who do little. At least FF was his own man and worked hard. Most others pale in comparison. When did St Helens last have decent MPs?

He worked hard but a lot of his ideologies clashed with his constituents. You’re right, a lot of Labour MPs do but that doesn’t mean Frank was a beacon of light and everyone loved him. Far from it

Old Labour, wrote extensively on socialism, wrote numerous policy papers on helping get people into work. what ideas were so awful? He wanted the working class to no longer be victims, instead too many MPs play at being victims.

He aligned with a lot of Brexit policies with the Tories in a very Remain-leaning town, and sided with Tories/Blairites on many things inc. the Iraq war. I’ve benefited from his social pushes and I’ve campaigned for him. I’m not sure what you’re trying to achieve here.

Plenty of Labour held towns voted Brexit....meaningless. Birkenhead Leave – 21,787 (51.7%) Remain – 20,348 (48.3%)

Leave vote 51.7% for Birkenhead...not very remain leaning.

Birkenhead is a poor area and many people are uninformed; the majority of the Wirral leaned remain overall. Not sure why you keep trying to one up me considering you’re not his constituent, and the CLP of Birkenhead leans remain, but whatever!
