Yes. I believe educating people r.e diversity increases tolerance & decreases stigma. Kids may have LGBTQ parents, aunts, uncles or teachers. I see no reason why anyone would object to helping them understand the world they live in, unless they objected to LGBTQ people. Do you?
No it isn't, nice attempt at knight's move there but it failed. Seeking to alter the social fabric by undermining institutions is cultural marxism. As above, in your time on your own coin. No reason taxes should fund this crap in schools.

Also, "please integrate these lessons into your institutions" is the precise opposite of undermining them, it is allowing them to adapt to the tension and /aiding/ their survival.
