Nigel should be calling for a second ref on the actual deal. Convincingly winning that is the only way will _stay_ out. If deal is hated by majority, we will end up back in.

Wrong. It does not follow that an unpopular deal equates to remaining in. Do you really think this will go away because one remain led government fumbled it? This is 45 years in the making and existential. All that will happen is a profound radicalization of the population
