Wrong, it was a UK vote. We are not federal. Like saying a MP cannot represent a constituency if one ward did not vote for him/her. Just doesn't work. Same applies for any US president in history.

Right. The six counties could hardly be described as federal at the time of partition. Ireland was dragged into the act of union as a single nation and should have be permitted to leave as a single nation.
