On the final page of John Barry’s terrific “The Great Influenza,” a chilling account of the 1918 pandemic: “Those in authority must retain the public’s trust. The way to do that is to distort nothing, to put the best face on nothing, to try to manipulate no one.”

So true. Is why those daily briefings were such a waste. No one knew who we could trust and even Fauci changed his tune on masks and distancing. And that TV time not practicing the guidelines of masks and distancing and touching. And no one getting sick. Of course no one believes

Unless the those in authority want their citizens to die and for those of you who say this is a ridiculous theory I ask you to re-examine everything #Trump has done since January 20th, 2017

I think we need to examine and find out everything he chose Not to do. His decisions to do nothing equates to at least half of our deaths, if not more.

And this is why Governor Cuomo won this. He was upfront, honest, and did it with compassion.
