    I don't know why I bother with being on committees, extra work in my own time and it just causes me grief 😔 no wonder junior docs are so apathetic, when you try to help you get shouted down

    That's just not how supply and demand works

    Pan-London locum rate cap starts on 9th Apr. We can't even fill critical care rota gaps on the current rate. Serious London-wide anaesthesic and ICU OOH staffing issues ahead. Trainee goodwill has truly fizzled out.

    Been thinking about why I’ve reacted so strongly to failing. I think it’s because at work I get really positive feedback and this is the first piece of negative feedback I’ve had in 9 months

    Was wrong, they are out and I failed. Failed on physical examination, identifying physical signs, differential diagnosis and clinical judgment... but hey, if you need patient welfare maintained, I’m your doc (got full marks there)

    Bah humbug, with the bank holiday weekend, I don’t think I’ll be seeing my PACES results until Tuesday at the earliest
