What Brett Maher is going through is normal. Unfortunately it’s playing out on a national stage. He’s now thinking instead of just kicking. Overthinking creating clutter, anxiety and a low state of mind. He needs to return to a high state of mind.

I don’t believe in Toxic Positivity. Even the term is wrong. If it’s toxic it’s not positive. Let’s call it what it really is. Fake, delusional and a lack of empathy. Those who label positivity as toxic are misrepresenting the good that positivity does and it’s benefits.

God told Adam and Eve they could eat from all the trees of the garden except one. So what did the serpent do? Got them to focus on the one they couldn’t. God calls us to an abundance mindset to see all we have while evil tries to get us to focus on what we lack.

To reinforce what I just said, a friend of mine said that accurate thinking didn’t get her through cancer. She said accurate thinking would have been detrimental. Positive thinking got her through it. What do you think?

Do you know what makes me NOT positive and even MAD?! When people misrepresent positive thinking! Just the other day , who is a pioneer in brain health, said that he’s not a fan of positive thinking. He said he prefers accurate thinking. Here’s my response…
