Starting to think there should be just be a 'Reaction Video' tickbox in the 'dispute' section of YouTube. That way the content holder can decide whether or not to release their claim (which is usually automated) and no one has to mess about with Fair Use. @TeamYouTube

Then all the big reaction channels can start to group together to educate rights holders on the positives of our channels. We have literally had record label people contacting us to thank us for videos that they have also claimed all the money for. Can't blame our contact...

It's nothing to do with them - these companies are too huge. Of course, this Reaction Video tickbox would still need a further dispute, or maybe then it can move into a Fair Use argument.

This way labels, film studios etc could have a blanket policy for reaction vids on a new release (they're CLEARLY sought after). We are seeing HIGH level channels having to quit because they can't earn any money, and that is of no benefit to anyone involved.

I think there's solutions here, we just need to help the labels etc catch up to this new form of media, much like the games industry had to a few years ago. If games still had the same thought process as music, we'd have no Ninja, no Tfue, no Dunkey.
