I always quite liked it on a shallow level. There were some huge series advancements like a lack of random encounters but it simplified a lot of other elements without really justifying why Sword & Shield implemented its best additions on a grander scope

Though being able to ride Pokémon was the best part, it's fun just to run around on Rapidash I am curious with the majority of replies being positive, Let's Go had a huge backlash behind it initially and in the launch week

Pikachu & Eevee also has some great interactive elements, understandbly as they only have to focus on those two specifically

No day/night/weather cycle was probably the weirdest thing, Kanto is stuck at a fixed point in time like an explanation of a complicated Doctor Who episode

It is better the Sword and Shield IMO, but still not tthat great. Very repetitive

What sets it above Sword & Shield for you?

Kanto, again ;-;

I don’t really understand this sentiment. When Let’s Go came out, it was 14 years after FRLG - Kanto was the only region we hadn’t seen since gen 3.

As a person who bought the PokeBall+, not great. Game was easy and very cheatable, and the grapics weren't insane.
