I'm very surprised that NY is just now doing this. Cashless tollways are very common most everywhere else and keeps traffic flowing. Sad that it takes away human interaction.

I know so many people who have made friends with toll workers because they interact with them so frequently. Kinda wish they kept a few on the job - from giving directions to getting help they provide a great service too.

This is horrible. I seen it coming years ago. I remember driving in Florida over 6 years ago and some areas had cashless toll booths.
