  3. 1,586 students around the world just found out they have something in common: they've been accepted to Johns Hopkins University! Congratulations, new Blue Jays!

    The marble sign along Charles Street is etched with the name The Johns Hopkins University. Behind the sign is the large grassy lawn known as the Beach, lined with large mature trees.
