4K watch hours in the past 12 months AND 1K subs? Certainly makes it hard for anyone just starting out to gain any traction at all. But OK. Challenge accepted.
Just to let you know, whether you're monetised or not doesn't affect discoverability.

It's all very much related, and "discoverability" is an unquantifiable abstraction anyway. But I'm not that concerned - just thought 10K views was an easier benchmark to reach than 1K subs.

Let me expand: it has been confirmed by big YTbers such as
@Kwebbelkop and reports from@TrustedFlagger that being monetised has no effect on how a video is recommended in the suggested tab or how videos show up in search. Therefore, it is still possible to grow.
