It's because he has no public videos. He had 4000 hours of watchtime at one point, but no longer meets that requirement. It's the requirement of the YPP that you need 4000 hours of public watchtime.

It says 4000 watch hours in the previous 12 months are required to get a review and 4000 are required to be public or else they can’t review your channel. He wasn’t requesting a review. He was in the program. The guy can pull 30,000 concurrent viewers are you fucking kidding me?

If you don't have 4000 watch hours in the previous 12 months, they remove you from the program. I saw a Creator Insider video on it a while back but I forget the name of it.

They should update their TOS because it's not there & they don't even have an automated response for it in the system. Sounds like another creator who's had an "invented reason" to be stripped of their money in the same business as all the others

Here's the brief comment on how you can be removed from the YPP.https://youtu.be/bIngfKyJyUw?t=167 …

It says uploads and community posts. I don’t think it says anything about uploading your stream and then deleting it at your leisure. Content is being uploaded to the website. It’s just being deleted. Maybe that’s the answer and I’m reading too much into it but that’s insane.

They need to be public watch hours, and that's made pretty clear in the policies. Eg, private videos don't affect your YPP hours.

I don’t see that literally anywhere in the policy.

Huh my mistake then, I thought it was in there. Maybe I saw a Creator Insider video or a twitter response to it then. Either way, private videos don't affect watchtime. It has to be public or unlisted.

it's how they respond to 90% of tweets via
@TeamYouTube I've seem it time, and time again, "you must have 4,000 Public watch hours for it to count"1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes

Either way, it's technically apart of it, just not made clear

I don’t see how “not included at all in their tos” and written in some tweets (with a different context) is “technically included” but the intellectuals are out in full swing tonight
