YouTube is finally implementing some change to how manual claims work. People/companies who wish to claim a video will have to specify where the copyrighted material is! This will definitely cut down on false claims. Well done @TeamYouTube!

Unlike many people, I know how the copyright system works and that YouTube can do very little to fix it, as much of it is enshrined in the DMCA guidelines. This was a step in the right direction and will help creators immensely - I can do nothing but commend them for that :)

100% agree. Makes me cringe everytime I see unqualified individuals talk about things that they have no knowledge about. Things that are being solved behind the scenes already.
