I hope we don't have an inquiry when this is over. If there are lessons to be learned, fine; but if there is just blame to be spread, forget it

We will need an enquiry if this is anywhere near accurate This study from prestigious Institute for Health Metrics&Evaluation (IHME) at Univ of Washington predicts UK to have world's highest per capita Coronavirus death rate by end of May (60,000 dead)http://covid19.healthdata.org/united-kingdom

So you don't believe that there should be scrutiny of a historic emergency? Those who have lost loved ones and are concerned about the resilience of the health service, PPE, numbers of ventilators and testing may well disagree.

Any inquiry if there were to be one should be on the credulity and intellect of journalists.

Why should we be blaming? No one has acted maliciously - everyone is doing their best. There are certainly things to learn and structures/efficiency/management of the NHS all need reviewing. But not seeking blame - we need to act constructively.

I don't think SKS will be able to resist. I am not a violent person but anyone who goes on about an enquiry will test my patience to the limit.

I do not know what is there to "spread". Buck stops at the top, surely. Prime Minister, @uksciencechief, @CMO_England At least 20,000 will be dead, when there will have been less deaths elsewhere, notably China. Agree, inquiry, reporting in 20 years, pointless.
