Horrific. Have you thought that Women could be your greatest allies in the fight against animal cruelty & aligning yourself with someone like the @WEP_UK Ultimately we are talking about Mother Earth and I believe Women will be instrumental in changing our attitudes to animals.

If women were in charge we wouldn’t have as much cruelty to animals and the environment. We would sit down have coffee and solve the worlds problems by noon!

-
I couldn't agree more. The last history book ever written will be "The Wrong People Were In Charge". 99.99% men, and what an absolute mess they've made of it. All the good things in the world come about despite the morons in charge. Women would have done a FAR better job.

I agree and I believe that it's time for all humanity to take a serious look at what women's leadership could do to transform our planet for all of us. Here's my article on 'Why the time for women's leadership is now' Published today on

OML I am a mother. The moment my son was born and I breastfed him was one of the most important in our lives. This is so cruel and abusive. I can't believe all the suffering we are providing to these souls.
-
I agree, greedy men take pride in their cruelty. They think it makes them manly when in reality it just makes them small. I had a girlfriend that had same spirit as well. Judge the spirit of the person it tells all.

This just makes me want to weep.

Wish I hadn't seen this, it's breaking my heart. What the hell are people doing. How did we end up on a planet where babies are denied their mother's milk so that we can steal it. Can't bear it.

I grew up in countryside. Generally older calves get those fitted to stop them biting & injuring mother's udders once they've developed enough to do that when they try to nurse. There is a positive reason behind it - sometimes, anyway. I don't agree w/them on younger calves.
-
But do the farmers really do that for the Mother's protection or to just stop the calf from drinking what they deem as a product and sell to the market for cash?
-
Many of them genuinely do do it for the mother's protection. I've seen udders that had to be stitched up after older calves tore them while trying to free-nurse, & that often leads to miserable bouts of mastitis. :(
-
Also the guard does not penetrate their septum. It’s similar to a clip on nose ring. It’s just tight enough that they can’t shake it loose
