The opioids that people are overdosing on ARE legal. Arguing to decriminalize something that isn't criminal isn't very logical.

They're getting hooked on the legal stuff, then they can't keep getting it and they switch to heroin.

It's what get them hooked, but it's not what most people overdose on. It's street drugs. Legal drugs is where it STARTS.
