Well sure it sounds simple... until one party is on a mission to: -make their voters so afraid of immigrants they think “make America great” means committing crimes against humanity -destroy faith in the judicial branch so their voters cheer as it’s dismantled - and on and on

The real problem is the inability for so many to see issues from any perspective other than their own. If you were able to see what scares those citizens (and they you) you'd realize there truth is somewhere in between. Practice compassion more than hate and disdain.
-
Absolutely. I reserve my disdain for politicians manipulating voters for the sole purpose of gaining power/money. I have compassion for the voters...we’re being intentionally divided with lies & propaganda. That’s why I support people like Beto and Kasich. The truth tellers.

The problem is that gerrymandering results in extremists who put party first, country second. Unless we have fair redistricting, the center cannot hold.

We need more elected officials like Kasich. I’m a Democrat but would vote Kasich. I feel desperate for leadership that’s respectful of all

Would you have confirmed Kavanaugh?
-
He said the nomination should have been pulled weeks ago.

Yes, but unfortunately those in Washington in GOP have sold their souls to corporations and big money. Only way to fix it is to get rid of the crooks and change the laws. No more big money in politics.
-
A ranked choice voting system would be an improvement too. So tired of the lesser of two evils “option” (non-option). SO much could be improved in our election systems.

@JohnKasich I believe you to be an honorable man. Your party, however, is sending a damaging message to the American people. Win at all cost is not a outlook that our young people should aspire to. -
Your statement suggests that you don't think Dems share any of the blame, I find that unfortunate.
@juliemason just said on her show she believes#Millennials will break the 2 party system & all I could think is, "God I hope you're right!" Rs & Ds share = blame I assure you. -
Democrats didn’t just appoint a man more red flags than a communist parade to a lifetime appointment in order to own the other side.
-
That's a huge exaggeration. Remember that
@realDonaldTrump published a list of all his potential nominees. No one had anything to say. Then the#Kavanaugh hearings come, no one had anything to say. Only afterwards, did Feinstein come forward with this. Why? B/c she sucks too! -
Dr. Ford had something to say when the list came out. The White House did not want this in the FBI report.https://hillreporter.com/keith-koegler-releases-significant-evidence-corroborating-dr-fords-claims-9543 …
-
Let's say he did it. This report was made when Kennedy retired. Trump published his list during his campaign. Kavanaugh sat on the premier circuit court. In all that time, especially his time as a circuit court judge, no one cared. If he's fit for 1 why not the other?
-
Are you asking why Dr. Ford, who lives in California, didn’t come forward while he was a circuit court judge in DC? Is that a serious question?
-
Are you discounting the importance of the circuit court? Are you indicating it's only with reporting if your attacker is going to be incredibly powerful, not just very powerful? I'm saying that the fact that no one had concerns over him being a judge ever before matters.
