Oh, it will stop. Lots of these schools will go bankrupt and then they won't be cancelling any more speakers.

No. What happens is that this is asymmetric. They know full well that the entire ceremony will be disrupted at best if the bullies don't get their way. But they know that there will be no corresponding action by the right except maybe from the fever swamps.

Who's going to stop it? To whom is any university--even public ones--accountable these days for its actions? Students, donors and governments pour in money, and faculty and administrators fight internally for the spoils, and nobody on the outside has any say about any of it.

Nope. Until the Democrats feel the wrath of the stupidity they espouse, let it burn.

I suspect most of us agree. My concern is whether a lot of students object or that this might just be a small faction exerting a heckler's veto. IDK where the line is. If, eg, 30% of students are unhappy with a speaker, that strikes me as a lot. If it's 5%, with 80% in favor?

"Fascists" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Can't lie - the rest of the country is enjoying entirely too much watching the lefts real-time devolution into madness. We could not have scripted it more beautifully if we had tried !

Our Country is being turned into a "SAFE SPACE" for the spoiled brats that grew up (sorta) in the participation trophy era.. Our society has failed an entire generation because of political correctness!
