The public health criteria to reform wildlife trade is brilliant John. This is so far the best and most intelligent approach, fairly negotiable and applicable to international #wildlife trade laws. As CEO of the African Women Lawyers’ Association, we will support this.

As we encroach on the natural habitats of animals, more and more encounters will happen. We need to rethink how we do things

There's no proof -- not any at all -- of a link between the wildlife trade of any sort and covid-19. There's lots of unfounded speculation. There's also lots of much weakened claims. Such as the mooted link between Pangolins & SARS cov-2. Please stop whipping up lynch mobs.

Sadly it's the failure of the
#environment movement that demands drastic measures. 50 years of#EarthDay and nothing of substance has been achieved. What has CITES achieved? How many#elephants lost in last 10yrs let alone last 50? It is beyond time for extremes.

It’s not until it impacts us that it’s an issue, how about we do this regardless for the well being of the animals.
