The northeast is seeing gasoline price inflation, but that isn't indicative of anything beyond supply disruptions. Which is the greater issue here, and it's been pervasive for more than a year now. Recent examples were: PPE, cleaning chemicals, paper products, wood, etc.

Inflation isn't a problem or a concern. We've had super low inflation for a long time. As evidenced in this right-wing article. n=1 of 0.9% isn't inflation A price rise in some goods is not inflation. Inflation, by definition, is a sustained increase. Not a spike.
