I think they’re trying to avoid the catastrophe that would surely result if kids were cut off from the myriad vital services and support that they get inside schools. As usual, the GOP just doesn’t care about the wellbeing of the adults inside schools

The first thing the teach us is that we have totally failed in mitigating the outbreak in this country and reopening the schools can not be done safely at any point in the near future. We need actual leadership.
