July 2019 was the hottest month ever, of any month, on record. Climate change is the greatest threat facing our planet. It’s about our kids. It’s about our health. It’s about the future. We must act. https://www.noaa.gov/news/july-2019-was-hottest-month-on-record-for-planet …

John knows climate change is real, man made, and will soon cause a global disaster potentially resulting in the extinction of most life. He could simply step aside. Instead he has made moral calculation where the benefits to him personally are worth destroying the planet.

Also, it was the hottest July ON RECORD. And since July is ALWAYS SUMMER (at least in half the world), your point is utterly irrelevant. It's, indeed, even more stupid than saying global warming isn't happening because it snows in Montana in January.

Once more for those in the back- July 2019 was the HOTTEST MONTH EVER, OF ANY MONTH , ON RECORD. GET IT? It was the HOTTEST MONTH EVER on Record! Even though we have had many July’s before none have EVER been this hot . 🥵

I grew up in Houston, John. Apparently you must not be making it back home very often. These are last week’s temps. This is not normal — even for summer in Houston:https://twitter.com/leahmcelrath/status/1159872568452616192 …

Hello, global warming. No relief in sight. And, yes, Houston has always been hot and humid, but not like this. You used to be able to go outside, go to the pool or the beach. We have two pools in our complex, have lived here four years, and used them maybe five times? #Houston pic.twitter.com/mxAdjWn8ZI

You call yourself a leader and you can't tell the difference between climate and weather. Are you that ignorant. Actually I think you're not. It's worse. You are willing to sacrifice the planet due to your devotion to corporations and Trump. You're a disgrace.

I teach in Texas. I’ll have my students write him letters to explain the difference between climate and weather. I’ll have third grade this year. They already know.
