        I think the difference is John Cleese is a comedian who’s success is based around being funny. The antagonist at the Cambridge Union was a historian, who was drunk, and was there to chair a debate, not to poke fun at Hitler. So it’s not surprising it was considered in bad taste

        Jerry Seinfeld doesn't perform on college campuses anymore because he finds their rules too restrictive. If this isn't a sign that things have gotten out of hand, I don't know what is.
