Enough scandalous time-wasting on climate change. Let's get back to the facts - 30 years wasted (as long as I have been researching climate change) and we are still told lies to protect privilege and vested interests!

Australia Day means different things to different people. For me, it’s a chance to acknowledge the past, recognise the present, and hope for the future. It begins with this simple fact: The history of Australia doesn’t date back to 1788. It dates back 65,000 years.

50% reduction in emissions, 39% reduction in costs... and the hybrid plant will be running in under 24 months. Tell me again why this transition needs to take 20 years? Well done WA! 👊🏻

No one job is worth saving at the expense of climate catastrophe. Not even Scott Morrison's - he should be dismissed for not keeping Australians safe.

Scott Morrison's stance on climate change makes it harder for future governments to undo his damage-we should have started mitigation 30 years ago. Every day of delay makes future action more difficult.

"If Scott Morrison has any standards whatsoever for the conduct of his ministers, he must immediately stand down Bridget McKenzie." "Failure to do so will prove that he does not believe his government is accountable to Australians." via

It’s great that the Libs seem to be slowly moving forward, let’s be clear. One cannot “accept the science of climate change” without “accepting fossil fuels must not be part of our economy”.

I think we need to ask what the emissions target is during their term in government. Strong 2050 targets are important but how to hold governments accountable for them? Also, in terms of climate forcing, early cuts provide much more powerful mitigation than delayed cuts..

The first steps would be more ambitious targets, zero CO2 emissions by 2050 and a price on carbon

Science Karen Andrews minister tired of climate debate - debate will continue as long as the government refuses to adopt realistic mitigation & adaptation policies & continues with lies about Australia pulling its weight.
