Thank you and for standing up for Florida renters! We need more affordable housing champs like y’all in office.

Terrible bill being heard right now in the FL House. Would allow landlords to charge a new perpetual, limitless junk fee on tenants. It guts security deposit protections in the state. It's backed by out-of-state companies who want to codify their business scheme in FL law. twitter.com/ida_v_e/status…

Today I firmly opposed HB 5B, which would finance the migrant relocation program. As a former teacher, I saw up close how immigrants strengthen our communities, families, and businesses. I am committed to protecting and defending our immigrant families

I could give a million reasons to why I didn’t support HB 543 (Permitless Carry) today, but I think this example speaks for itself!

We welcomed another visitor to our office: Betzaida Vargas, the founder of “Samaritana del Pozo,”an organization dedicated to supporting, mentoring, and evangelizing single women, divorcees, widows, and single mothers. As a single woman I understand the struggles in our society!

I had the great pleasure of meeting with Orange County Clerk of the Courts Tiffany Moore Russell to discuss her proposed legislation to address the broken funding model that impacts their offices. We should work together to strengthen our court system!

Happy to welcome Diana Mejia from Nuevo Sendero to my office! Nuevo Sendero educates our community about sexual violence and domestic abuse, two big issues that are sadly too common in our state!

As a teacher for over 20 years, I am the proudest when I see my former students succeed! This week, I saw Iris and Yunmarie; Iris is a reporter for Telemundo-31 and Yunmarie is medical professional. Believe in our youth!

Heartbroken to learn about this hate crime targeting Southern Nights, District Dive and Southern Craft last night. We must protect our LGBTQ+ community! If you have any information regarding this vile attack, reach out to Orlando Police as soon as possible!

Yesterday I met with Osceola Clerk of the Courts Kevin Soto and his team to discuss important issues our community is facing, particularly related to making changes to our state’s civil justice system. It’s always great to see Central Floridians in Tally!
