So, did none of you watch France v Denmark? And all of a sudden, people have fallen in love with Senegal. It's hypocrisy. Seriously.

France-Denmark was terrible too. Worst game of the tournament by far, neither team really played. Nobody did anything wrong in either situation, it's just not great from a neutral perspective.

Senegal had the chance to play football before Colombia's goal and decided not to. They got what they deserved but yes this is not a good look for football.....

So yellow cards determine Qualification... Thats not fair, a decider match between the two level teams would be a better alternative
-
the match between the two of them is actually considered before the fair play
-
I guess he talks about an extra match, as it used to be years ago... but it's hard now, there's too little time between stages, and the winner would have a disadvantage for the extra effort.
-
But as it is... Both teams came to play soccer... fouls occur... if anyone knew that they would be used against them at some stage... No team would commit any... so to me this rule is obsolete but it is what it is
-
I'm pretty sure they were aware of the rules of the tournament, but yeh, it's sad for them to go like this
-
Everyone acting like this happens often though. It’s the first time ever this rule has come into play. What’s the big deal?
-
What would have been the deciding factor if both teams had equal fouls?
-
I believe it’s legit a random draw or flipping a coin.

Nothing wrong with Japan there. You see teams waste so many minutes in throwins and corners just to save the game, and this is embarrassing? This is clear tactics. Nothing wrong with it
-
Totally agree. There were more unfair plays in the games in WC and this was the best tactic and strategy with the situation and conditions that Japan was in at that moment. This is a good example of that they should be aware that getting fouls affects the result.
