#HB481 is a terrible bill; reps pls vote no! It’s tragic for women! Secondarily also terrible for jobs in GA. Business leaders need to stand against this discriminatory effort! Get on it Thanks for your leadership!

it always bugs me to see how low the voter turnout is in our country. we are so lucky to have a say. use it.
I was pretty worried about this one. Way to go Atlanta - this was a no-brainer!

when I bought 151 Spring St. downtown, the name of the street hadn’t changed to Ted Turner Dr. yet, no yet, no Mercedes-Benz stadium yet, no underground redevelopment, no South Downtown development, no Gulch. Founders like to see around the corner when no one else does.

standing on the corner of observing people wait in line for an event. it’s hitting me lately that people make everything better. downtowns, parks, coffee shops, public spaces, events, etc. people like being around people. if you can get people somewhere, you win.

If I were mayor, I’d start by ensuring (block by block) we have a great Downtown. Not a real city without that. We have an opportunity right now to give Downtown a shot in the arm but I’m hearing it’s at risk of not being approved by city council. greenlightthegulch.com

We can have a healthy debate on how to ensure that The Gulch makes sense for residents of Atlanta as well as the business community, but there should be no question that this gaping hole in the middle of Downtown needs to be developed ASAP lnkd.in/e_cYZ7D

Two lessons:
1. Atlanta is serious about expanding transit
2. Civic engagement truly works - this list is SO much better than the first, and it's all due to everyday citizens lobbying heavily for more Beltline transit lnkd.in/eiTYUEf
