Speak Victory! Talk the Talk. Walk the Walk. http://MyMotivationalQuotes.com pic.twitter.com/hRsthK0i1o
I am victorious everyday. I am blessed all the way. I am financially endorsed. I am favored. I am protected. I am the LORD's and He is for me. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper. My mouth is filled with laughter, my heart with joy unspeakable...Amen!!
You gotta be kidding, right?
I know! Right? So much deception and heresy! So, so sad!
Deception? And heresy? For what? It’s all true, be what you want to be, have faith, go for it.
If you want to break the addiction, say so? Go for it? I suggest a trip to the local homeless shelter or jail.
I'm a recovering addict. If the "say so" method worked, it wouldn't have taken me over 20 years to get clean! I also don't understand where God's grace and healing fits in with the "go for it" and "say so" method.

Amen Tara! I was addicted to my toxic emotional thinking. It took me years to recover from that..even tho I was saying “so” for years. ..because God wants us to face denial, work through the wounds, (grace) , repentance and healing (mercy). Sorry, but “so” is fantasy island!
Will be down with a hard fall, but those times are the times when you will be tested for your will and your faith, those times will be the times when you will have to tell your self to get back up and do it again. That’s when you will tell yourself yes, do it so.
I can get on board with most of this. But there is more to it than just telling yourself to do so. There are so many times, including this present season of my life, that I have to say, "God I can't do this. Only you can!" We can never leave God out of the equation.
In context, the verse doesn’t mean “say so” about anything but rather it means to agree with the previous statement, which is that God is good and His lovingkindness is everlasting. A better example from the Bible to use would’ve been Philippians 4:13, or Luke 17:6pic.twitter.com/UVHj0Al8lm

Thank You @JoelOsteen @VictoriaOsteen I’m able to receive the message through y’all... thank you
I’m dreaming again it’s like a weight has been lifted. I made a commitment to God therefore I commit to myself to be a better me each day!
Thank you for your kind words. You are a blessing to us. -VOM Team
This is ridiculous lol. I am not disputing that what @JoelOsteen said was motivational, but to imply that the overall message of his tweet is the same as the overall message of the scripture he pulled it from (Psalm 107:1-3) is absolutely ridiculous and misleading.
The verse states that the Lord is good and that his love endures through everything AND to let those who have been saved attest to that (aka "say so")! The tone of @JoelOsteen's tweet is self-delivering. That is, Joel is implying that WE can do those things by ourselves.
The actual verse is saying that we DIDNT do it by ourselves. In fact, if you go on to read further, it states that "HE delivered them from their distress. HE led them till they reached the city. HE satisfies the longing soul." The redeemed have experienced this and should say so.
