Even if it's just in passing reference, it's exciting to type "Titan" into a paper draft.

For those interested in inverted fluvial channels on Mars - like those discussed by this morning at - here's all the CTX and HiRISE DEMs of them that we've released so far, free to download.

Great to see this CTX DEM mosaic dataset of Gale crater, Mars, that and I made being used by at . If you want to access it, it's freely available to download here.

Finally, this gif is made from two CTX images and showing barchan dunes in the southern part of McLaughlin crater.

One of the useful things about using CTX data to monitor dunes is the large image footprint, which gives us scope to investigate changes across the dune field, complimenting previous work which used HiRISE.

Dunes are on Mars are pretty slow. They are typically moving at ~ 1 m/yr and that's quite difficult to spot in 6m/px CTX. However, we now have over a decade of data and can monitor both supra-pixel and sub-pixel changes in CTX.

Aeolian processes are active across Mars and dune migration has been observed in 25 cm/px HiRISE images over the last decade. Here, we've shown that migration can also be observed used lower resolution 6 m/px CTX data.

Gaia Stucky de Quay: compare bedrock rivers on Mars and Earth. Mars data are within Earth range, but are slightly less concave‐up and steeper for a given drainage area. Data are consistent with erosion rates + intermittencies for Earth arid environments!
