...ad buyers to have the ability to associate to certain pieces of content and your content (at a one off level) doesn't match w any, should YouTube monetize it? I'm really asking, totally ignorant on their model.

That's an interesting idea. Would you as an individual be willing to pay a premium for deplatforming free content? I believe I would. Let them censor the freeloaders streams, and see who is willing to pay for free speech.

No. People happily pay extra for stinky cheese. Censorship yields an innocuous cheese food product unlikely to attract or offend.

No. I may also be being ironic (I'll have to check). I was suggesting that if viewers paid extra, they could get uncensored/unredacted/undeplatformed content, like if you pay extra, you can get rid of ads.

Exactly and even on the low, the orig purchase gives us its value as well. The rev model unique to web makes old models (tv, print, marketing lists)...old. Now dont get me wrng I thnk those old will evolve due to tech & gain back ad mrkt share but it will b evlvd whch will b diff
