Why are plant care websites so reticent to even give an estimation of how often to water or fertilize plants? Yes yes soil dryness but a rough time estimate would be handy? Literally the website I'm looking at says 'fertilize throughout the growing season'. THAT DOES NOT HELP.

Moisture meters!! I let everything dry out then give it a drink, some of them take ages to dry out, the ones that dry out in like, a day, are the thirsty bitches who need more water. I fertilise most of mine when I can remember, my palm gets it every time I water tho
Solid advice, will look into some moisture meters! Any decent recommendations?

They're literally all the same, just the £10 cheap ones on amazon/ebay, like a green box with a metal prod coming out of it, you don't need anything fancier than that
