My heart has sunk reading all the brave posts from those who have been a victim of abuse. Our industry needs to do better to create a safe environment where anyone can operate without fear of harassment, abuse or sexual assault. I believe you and stand with you.
And friends, if you see me interacting with or following a known abuser.. Please let me know, victims of abuse needs need to hear a collective unified voice that this appalling behaviour is not OK and that we stand with them.
This is not a burden just to place on others though.. I have not been good at vetting those that i follow on twitter & have a high following count. In my eyes now a sign of complacency, i'll be doing a pass through my following list over the next few days.
