I was docked a third of my SSI for three months 6 months after my Gofundme for my wheelchair van but Brett "government cheese" Favre can take money from welfare programs to fund his daughter’s gym?
I really disagree, especially when conservatives call any accommodation to anything they disapprove of as "wokeness". The ADA that put ramps outside, gave me access to public transportation which enables me to do comedy would've been called wokeness too.

If you're permanently disabled in Germany they give you a monthly voucher to see a sex worker,
If you're chronically disabled in Ireland they give a tenured civil service job
In the US if you're disabled, they give you $331, that I'm spending on German lessons
As someone who grew up being reminded that we were useless and unwanted, I'm humbled by how so many people helped me reach my goal in the last few days.
My haters tell me I'll never make it in comedy, but I tell them I ain't going to make it at all

I'm quitting comedy because places like Comedy Store La Jolla won't buy a ramp for comics in wheelchairs to get on stage, but they'll accommodate disabled people Brendan Schaub's make a wish to be a comedian.

Genuinely confused how I'm being negative by pointing out that the stage in the Main room of one of the most famous comedy clubs is not accessible to performers in wheelchairs.
What really makes Dave Chappelle comedy's GOAT is that he sold Netflix the same special six times.
This in Huntington Beach is not accessible due to construction next door, but I advised them to ask the property manager to get a folding ramp to mitigate the inaccessibility
Having employees lift someone in a wheelchair onto the stage because you don't have a portable ramp is not being accessible to performers in wheelchairs.

Please understand that I am legitimately livid at the lack of wheelchair accessibility onto stages because it occurs to me that inaccessibility means that comics in wheelchairs have even less of a chance for the already precious limited resource that is stage time.
This year strained my heart and soul but I'm approaching where I want to be because I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing
At this show another comedian during his set called my ramp in front of the stage "weird", and I'm still angry because that asshole is a guitar comic.
