This is a similar party breakdown to the 1800+ absentee ballots that were in the Tuesday count, which Hunt carried 60-40 (2% were blank in that race). If Nov 6 results hold true here, Hunt should net 35 votes. (more valid ballots likely to come in Friday, my guess 20)

This is a VERY Hunt favorable group. I looked in detail at the 124 received Tues+Weds. 38% are under age 26. 61% are Female. 26% of that pool of 124 were mailed to campus addresses, 7 of them to Chapel Hill. 7 of the 124 came from overseas. /1

this is because younger voters typically wait until the last minute to vote (this is true nationwide). I guess lots of texts sent last Saturday “Mom, I have my ballot where do I get a stamp”. (My daughter in law is a grad student from Charlotte. I supplied a stamp a week ago LOL)
