(1) IMPEACH. Since McConnell will not reconvene the Senate before Trump’s term expires, (2) Pelosi must send the articles to the Senate *after* inauguration, when Trump’s removal is moot. (3) Senate Dems can then bar Trump from holding office again with a simple majority vote.
The work of the next four years must be the restoration of democracy and the recovery of respect for the rule of law, and the renewal of a politics that’s about solving problems — not stoking the flames of hate and chaos.
