I want to clarify something I said yesterday. In my 40 years in public life, I have always complied with a lawful order and in my eight years as VP, my office — unlike Donald Trump and Mike Pence — cooperated with legitimate congressional oversight requests.

"The Senate shall have the sole power to try impeachment". Seems like the Constitution gives that subpoena the legal basis you're looking for, Joe. Weird a former senator wouldn't know that.

Biden wasn’t on the call or in the room when Trump tried to extort a foreign government so he has no testimony to give on the issue at hand. He can’t be convicted at someone else’s trial.
